Give them a chance. Its most likely gonna be updated when the PvE preview rolls around.

unfortunately i hear the "september 1st preview" was a rumor that got out of hand....
but yes, change the stupid pillar and the music that is getting quite old (no offense jeremy soule!!! u rock!!!)
hopefully itll be like, different songs randomly instead of the same login song over and over and over- that might be nice too...

If I must give them time... /sigh - jk.
If I recall, the PvE event came after the pre-purchase date. I think I remember having in hand my pre-order box for Factions prior to the event such that I was able to send myself a "friend invite" (due to lack of character slots at the time).
Unfortunatly, after the event, I was rather miffed about the heavier PvP lean on game play and the "not really PvP but really is" cloaked game mechanic. So, with those things on my mind, and having canceled the pre-order (of Factions) from Gamestop... I don't really remember if I was right on the timing.
Anyone confirm?
And yea, love Jeremy Soule's music, but that same old Faction's tune is getting to be a snore. <--- guilty of buying the music packs from Direct Song.

I have to say that the shots of what are presumably the major cities, along with the one in the earlier in-game trailer look just incredible. The GW art direction really is something else.

If that Elementalist with the scythe is part dervish, his class would be E/D, or erectile dysfunction to the medical community. Just thought about that.

Anyone notice that on the tenth screen up from the bottom there are henchie NPCs on the map?
Guess we don't get to make them JUST choose stats on armor and skills. Sad news if true.

I am the guy who made all that photos, the one in that Hawaii shirt, smiling from one ear to the other
I'll write a full review of our convention visit including some more of the over 200 pictures I did take the last two days. Stay tuned!
The non-GW-photos are (in the following order):
Enemy Territory: Quake Wars (spawning screen)
Crysis (at Microsoft's "Games for Windows" 16+ years booth)
Crysis (at EA's 360 degree cinema)
Hellgate London (outpost)
Hellgate London (explorable area)
Hellgate London (outpost with map of outposts)

I found this on Wiki about Gw:NF
customizable and controllable "heroes" (similar to henchmen) who level up, follow player instructions in combat, and use skills and equipment of the player's choosing
Not sure this is a confrim of what i said earlyer in first post but it does prove more ppl think its true..

ITs the same one, do the math.
Character Creation + Character Selection = Same Backdrop Setting.
